GUJI HEIRLOOM
Alongside Yirgacheffe, Guji may be the most famous coffee-growing region in Africa. Excellent examples of the Natural Process, developed in Ethiopia, are abundant. Most Ethiopian specialty coffee is produced by smallholders with only 1-2 hectares of land. These are subsistence farmers, interspersing food crops with native Heirloom coffee plants sold by weight to the local washing station or wet mill during harvest season.
